Standard Yoga Style
Restorative Flow
ATHAYOGA Restorative Flow does not teach complex postures; these classes are for everyone, including beginners. It is dedicated to balance and more inner harmony. Our teachers combine activating āsanas (postures) with passive, regenerating positions and combine them effectively. Prana (life force) is generated and sustainably stored.
It represents the lunar energy from the Hatha Yoga system. The long-holding āsanas work on the deeper layers of the body; on the organic level, while the stimulating postures promote toning and flexibility. The mind comes to rest by observing body, breath and mind in a meditative way, thereby refining the awareness.
ATHAYOGA Restorative Flow incorporates elements of Iyengar Yoga, Yin & Yang Yoga and Restorative Yoga. We integrate tools such as blocks, blankets, cushions, pillows and yoga straps to make the postures individually accessible and to give a healthy support. It provides grounding, stability and therefore serenity and concentration. Our lessons always end with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
Slow Flow
ATHAYOGA Slow Flow does not teach complex postures; the classes are for everyone, including beginners. It is dedicated to balancing the nervous system and to the strength and flexibility of the body, and promotes a holistically harmonized body-mind system. Prana (life force) is distributed and balanced.
It represents Ha-Tha, the balance of solar and lunar energy in the Hatha Yoga system. Our teachers lead these flow sequences in a slower rhythm, which makes the practice feel very powerful. Āsanas can be held a bit longer and more explicitly until a magical fusion of effort and ease can arise. Breathing and movement are synchronized and the awareness is removed from the carousel of thoughts and completely focused on the moment.
ATHAYOGA Slow Flow is based on classical Hatha Yoga, is also inspired by Iyengar and Vinyasa Krama methods and combines with contemporary knowledge of body and mind. We offer tools such as blocks, blankets, cushions, pillows and yoga belts to make the āsanas more accessible and therefore more effective. Our classes always end with Savasana (relaxation exercise).

When to begin Postnatal Yoga: after a vaginal birth, with medical approval from around 6–8 weeks; after a caesarean birth, with medical approval from around 10–12 weeks.
